Duaa of Imran's Wife

Wife of imran pledging to Allah, naming her Maryam and seeking refuge from Satan for her and her offspring and Zakariyah peace on him witnessed rizq with Maryam asa.

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم 

Aal-e-Imran 3:35

إِذْ قَالَتِ ٱمْرَأَتُ عِمْرَٰنَ رَبِّ إِنِّى نَذَرْتُ لَكَ مَا فِى بَطْنِى مُحَرَّرًا فَتَقَبَّلْ مِنِّىٓۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ 

[Mention, O Muhammad], when the wife of 'Imran said, "My Lord, indeed I have pledged to You what is in my womb, consecrated [for Your service], so accept this from me. Indeed, You are the Hearing, the Knowing.

Aal-e-Imran 3:36

فَلَمَّا وَضَعَتْهَا قَالَتْ رَبِّ إِنِّى وَضَعْتُهَآ أُنثَىٰ وَٱللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا وَضَعَتْ وَلَيْسَ ٱلذَّكَرُ كَٱلْأُنثَىٰۖ وَإِنِّى سَمَّيْتُهَا مَرْيَمَ وَإِنِّىٓ أُعِيذُهَا بِكَ وَذُرِّيَّتَهَا مِنَ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنِ ٱلرَّجِيمِ 

But when she delivered her, she said, "My Lord, I have delivered a female." And Allah was most knowing of what she delivered, "And the male is not like the female. And I have named her Mary, and I seek refuge for her in You and [for] her descendants from Satan, the expelled [from the mercy of Allah ]."

Aal-e-Imran 3:37

فَتَقَبَّلَهَا رَبُّهَا بِقَبُولٍ حَسَنٍ وَأَنۢبَتَهَا نَبَاتًا حَسَنًا وَكَفَّلَهَا زَكَرِيَّاۖ كُلَّمَا دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا زَكَرِيَّا ٱلْمِحْرَابَ وَجَدَ عِندَهَا رِزْقًاۖ قَالَ يَٰمَرْيَمُ أَنَّىٰ لَكِ هَٰذَاۖ قَالَتْ هُوَ مِنْ عِندِ ٱللَّهِۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَرْزُقُ مَن يَشَآءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ 

So her Lord accepted her with good acceptance and caused her to grow in a good manner and put her in the care of Zechariah. Every time Zechariah entered upon her in the prayer chamber, he found with her provision. He said, "O Mary, from where is this [coming] to you?" She said, "It is from Allah . Indeed, Allah provides for whom He wills without account."

Reward for the True Believers

True believers: for them forgiveness and noble provision

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم 

Al-Anfal 8:74

وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَهَاجَرُوا۟ وَجَٰهَدُوا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَاوَوا۟ وَّنَصَرُوٓا۟ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ حَقًّاۚ لَّهُم مَّغْفِرَةٌ وَرِزْقٌ كَرِيمٌ 

But those who have believed and emigrated and fought in the cause of Allah and those who gave shelter and aided -  it is they who are the believers, truly.  For them is forgiveness and noble provision.

Prophet Yusuf Reunited with His Brothers

Admittance and affirmation of Yusuf's asa brothers and Yusuf asa saving them from embarrassment and seeking forgiveness for them

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم 

Yusuf 12:91

قَالُوا۟ تَٱللَّهِ لَقَدْ ءَاثَرَكَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْنَا وَإِن كُنَّا لَخَٰطِـِٔينَ 

They said, "By Allah, certainly has Allah preferred you over us, and indeed, we have been sinners."

Yusuf 12:92

قَالَ لَا تَثْرِيبَ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلْيَوْمَۖ يَغْفِرُ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمْۖ وَهُوَ أَرْحَمُ ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ 

He said, "No blame will there be upon you today. Allah will forgive you; and He is the most merciful of the merciful."

One who is devoutly obedient during periods of the night, prostrating and standing [in prayer], fearing the Hereafter and hoping Allah's mercy

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم 

Az-Zumar 39:8

وَإِذَا مَسَّ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ ضُرٌّ دَعَا رَبَّهُۥ مُنِيبًا إِلَيْهِ ثُمَّ إِذَا خَوَّلَهُۥ نِعْمَةً مِّنْهُ نَسِىَ مَا كَانَ يَدْعُوٓا۟ إِلَيْهِ مِن قَبْلُ وَجَعَلَ لِلَّهِ أَندَادًا لِّيُضِلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦۚ قُلْ تَمَتَّعْ بِكُفْرِكَ قَلِيلًاۖ إِنَّكَ مِنْ أَصْحَٰبِ ٱلنَّارِ 

And when adversity touches man, he calls upon his Lord, turning to Him [alone]; then when He bestows on him a favor from Himself, he forgets Him whom he called upon before, and he attributes to Allah equals to mislead [people] from His way. Say, "Enjoy your disbelief for a little; indeed, you are of the companions of the Fire."

Az-Zumar 39:9

أَمَّنْ هُوَ قَٰنِتٌ ءَانَآءَ ٱلَّيْلِ سَاجِدًا وَقَآئِمًا يَحْذَرُ ٱلْءَاخِرَةَ وَيَرْجُوا۟ رَحْمَةَ رَبِّهِۦۗ قُلْ هَلْ يَسْتَوِى ٱلَّذِينَ يَعْلَمُونَ وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَۗ إِنَّمَا يَتَذَكَّرُ أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ 

Is one who is devoutly obedient during periods of the night, prostrating and standing [in prayer], fearing the Hereafter and hoping for the mercy of his Lord, [like one who does not]? Say, "Are those who know equal to those who do not know?" Only they will remember [who are] people of understanding.

Angels praying for those who believe, repent and followed Allah's path, to enter their righteous spouses, parents and offsprings to paradise of perpetual residence

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم 

Ghafir 40:7

ٱلَّذِينَ يَحْمِلُونَ ٱلْعَرْشَ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهُۥ يُسَبِّحُونَ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّهِمْ وَيُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِۦ وَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ رَبَّنَا وَسِعْتَ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ رَّحْمَةً وَعِلْمًا فَٱغْفِرْ لِلَّذِينَ تَابُوا۟ وَٱتَّبَعُوا۟ سَبِيلَكَ وَقِهِمْ عَذَابَ ٱلْجَحِيمِ 

Those [angels] who carry the Throne and those around it exalt [ Allah ] with praise of their Lord and believe in Him and ask forgiveness for those who have believed, [saying], "Our Lord, You have encompassed all things in mercy and knowledge, so forgive those who have repented and followed Your way and protect them from the punishment of Hellfire.

Ghafir 40:8

رَبَّنَا وَأَدْخِلْهُمْ جَنَّٰتِ عَدْنٍ ٱلَّتِى وَعَدتَّهُمْ وَمَن صَلَحَ مِنْ ءَابَآئِهِمْ وَأَزْوَٰجِهِمْ وَذُرِّيَّٰتِهِمْۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ 

Our Lord, and admit them to gardens of perpetual residence which You have promised them and whoever was righteous among their fathers, their spouses and their offspring. Indeed, it is You who is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

Ghafir 40:9

وَقِهِمُ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِۚ وَمَن تَقِ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ يَوْمَئِذٍ فَقَدْ رَحِمْتَهُۥۚ وَذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ 

And protect them from the evil consequences [of their deeds]. And he whom You protect from evil consequences that Day -  You will have given him mercy.  And that is the great attainment."

Man`s supplication, then hopelessness and despairing when evil touches, and then mercy touches, he turns away and when evil touches, he engages in long supplications

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم 

Fussilat 41:49

لَّا يَسْـَٔمُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ مِن دُعَآءِ ٱلْخَيْرِ وَإِن مَّسَّهُ ٱلشَّرُّ فَيَـُٔوسٌ قَنُوطٌ 

Man is not weary of supplication for good [things], but if evil touches him, he is hopeless and despairing.

Fussilat 41:50

وَلَئِنْ أَذَقْنَٰهُ رَحْمَةً مِّنَّا مِنۢ بَعْدِ ضَرَّآءَ مَسَّتْهُ لَيَقُولَنَّ هَٰذَا لِى وَمَآ أَظُنُّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ قَآئِمَةً وَلَئِن رُّجِعْتُ إِلَىٰ رَبِّىٓ إِنَّ لِى عِندَهُۥ لَلْحُسْنَىٰۚ فَلَنُنَبِّئَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِمَا عَمِلُوا۟ وَلَنُذِيقَنَّهُم مِّنْ عَذَابٍ غَلِيظٍ 

And if We let him taste mercy from Us after an adversity which has touched him, he will surely say, "This is [due] to me, and I do not think the Hour will occur; and [even] if I should be returned to my Lord, indeed, for me there will be with Him the best." But We will surely inform those who disbelieved about what they did, and We will surely make them taste a massive punishment.

Fussilat 41:51

وَإِذَآ أَنْعَمْنَا عَلَى ٱلْإِنسَٰنِ أَعْرَضَ وَنَـَٔا بِجَانِبِهِۦ وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ ٱلشَّرُّ فَذُو دُعَآءٍ عَرِيضٍ 

And when We bestow favor upon man, he turns away and distances himself; but when evil touches him, then he is full of extensive supplication.

Higher in ranks and successful and glad tidings of Allah's Mercy and gardens with enduring pleasure

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم

At-Taubah 9:20

ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَهَاجَرُوا۟ وَجَٰهَدُوا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ بِأَمْوَٰلِهِمْ وَأَنفُسِهِمْ أَعْظَمُ دَرَجَةً عِندَ ٱللَّهِۚ وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْفَآئِزُونَ 

The ones who have believed, emigrated and striven in the cause of Allah with their wealth and their lives are greater in rank in the sight of Allah . And it is those who are the attainers [of success].

At-Taubah 9:21

يُبَشِّرُهُمْ رَبُّهُم بِرَحْمَةٍ مِّنْهُ وَرِضْوَٰنٍ وَجَنَّٰتٍ لَّهُمْ فِيهَا نَعِيمٌ مُّقِيمٌ 

Their Lord gives them good tidings of mercy from Him and approval and of gardens for them wherein is enduring pleasure.

If Allah Touches You With Adversity

Aaoodhoo billahe minashaitan rajeem before 

 Al-An'am 6:17

وَإِن يَمْسَسْكَ ٱللَّهُ بِضُرٍّ فَلَا كَاشِفَ لَهُ‌وٓ إِلَّا هُوَۖ وَإِن يَمْسَسْكَ بِخَيْرٍ فَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ 

And if Allah should touch you with adversity, there is no remover of it except Him. And if He touches you with good -  then He is over all things competent.

______my comments______

This ayah is life saver for me. It happened in the past that adversity touched me and I tried every way of its removal and it was not removed until Allah decided to remove it. Subhan Allah.

In my weak moments Satan whispers me that it was removed because I took certain steps due to my wisdom. Istaghfirullah. May Allah save us from such satanic thoughts. Satan also whispers, it was removed because so and so helped. But with my high faith today alhamdolillah I can say that so and so couldnt help if Allah didn't want to. I have high iman today alhamdolillah. When I have weak faith, Satan whispers me I was touched with adversity because of so and so. But with my high iman today alhamdolillah I would say, adversity cannot touch me if Allah didn't want it to happen. Also when good touches me, with my weak iman Satan whispers me it happened due to some of my good deed. Subhan Allah. But my high iman today alhamdolillah, I can say no good touches me due to my good deed, but good touches me only due to Allah's mercy. And this ayah strengthens my belief on that good can touch me any time if Allah wills because Allah is Qadeer.

Gift to Musa

Aaoodhoo billahe minashaitan rajeem 

Maryam 19:53

وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُ‌و مِن رَّحْمَتِنَآ أَخَاهُ هَٰرُونَ نَبِيًّا 

And We gave him out of Our mercy his brother Aaron as a prophet.

Beautiful wording. Subhan Allah. Surely Haroon asa was a special gift to Musa asa that Allah granted to Musa asa. Subhan Allah. Allah used the word wahabna not aataina. According to my understanding wahabna is giving special gift and aataina is just giving. Allah o Akbar. And Allah gave him out of His Mercy. Having a helper in your family is the greatest gift because It is the immediate family who know our deepest defects. Musa asa had a problem of speech and Haroon asa knew that so he was the perfect person to help. I also notice that Musa asa didn't feel devalued by taking help of his brother. Big tasks can't be achieved without taking help from others but my ego doesn't let me ask for help. O Allah grant us family out of Your Mercy who become our helpers in pleasing You and help us kill our ego to ask for help from whoever can help us. Ameen.

Clouds

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
Assalamoalaekum السلام عليكم

I am sharing an ayah below which inspired me today to be grateful. If it is beneficial then all praise to Allah. All the shortcoming are due to me. Oh Allah guide us, forgive us and have mercy upon us. Ameen.

Surah An-Noor, Verse 43:
أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ يُزْجِي سَحَابًا ثُمَّ يُؤَلِّفُ بَيْنَهُ ثُمَّ يَجْعَلُهُ رُكَامًا فَتَرَى الْوَدْقَ يَخْرُجُ مِنْ خِلَالِهِ وَيُنَزِّلُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مِن جِبَالٍ فِيهَا مِن بَرَدٍ فَيُصِيبُ بِهِ مَن يَشَاءُ وَيَصْرِفُهُ عَن مَّن يَشَاءُ يَكَادُ سَنَا بَرْقِهِ يَذْهَبُ بِالْأَبْصَارِ

Do you not see that Allah drives along the clouds, then gathers them together, then piles them up, so that you see the rain coming forth from their midst? And He sends down of the clouds that are (like) mountains wherein is hail, afflicting therewith whom He pleases and turning it away from whom He pleases; the flash of His lightning almost takes away the sight.

Who doesn't see the cloud? Everybody does. They are beautiful SubhanAllah. When i see them, I see them moving all the time. Sometimes I feel they are coordinating with each other. SubhanAllah! What an amazing creation! But this ayah is not about their beauty. But this ayah is about how Allah gathers them together, piles them up and about how Allah lets the rain and hail come from the center of it. Why did Allah say "Don't you see?"

When a women cooks food, she wants to be appreciated. When a man earns money for his family he wants to be appreciated. In fact each of us want to be appreciated. And the best kind of appreciation is the one in which we acknowledge the difficulties that person went Thru.  Also a good appreciation is the one in which we acknowledge the wisdom of the person.

Does Allah need appreciation here? No Allah doesn't need our appreciation  because Allah is already  Al Hameed الحميد Full of praise worthy. Meaning even if we don't praise Him, He is still praised. It is our job to wonder on Allah's creation and Allah's management of clouds. It is in our benefit that We appreciate His ceeations. SubhanAllah. We have a hard time to control man made things. Allah controls clouds and everything in it. SUBHANALLAH. From those clouds He can send us rain or hail. SUBHANALLAH. That rain and hail can become mercy for some and disaster for some. SUBHANALLAH.

In 3rd world countries rain bring disasters. When i was a child I used to love rains. I still love them. But now I know they are sent as mercy as well as punishment to previous nations. So in  need to make duaa when rain and hail happens that Allah gives us good out of it. Oh Allah help us appreciate Your Creations. Ameen.

No one despairs except disbelievers

اعوذ بالله من الشيطن الرجيم

Surah 12. Yusuf, Verse 87:

يَا بَنِيَّ اذْهَبُوا فَتَحَسَّسُوا مِن يُوسُفَ وَأَخِيهِ وَلَا تَيْأَسُوا مِن رَّوْحِ اللَّهِ إِنَّهُ لَا يَيْأَسُ مِن رَّوْحِ اللَّهِ إِلَّا الْقَوْمُ الْكَافِرُونَ

Translation:

"O my sons! Go you and enquire about Yusuf (Joseph) and his brother, and never give up hope of Allah's Mercy. Certainly no one despairs of Allah's Mercy, except the people who disbelieve."

Attitude of man when Allah withdraws His Mercy

اعوذ بالله من الشيطن الرجيم

Surah 11. Hud, Verse 9:

وَلَئِنْ أَذَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ مِنَّا رَحْمَةً ثُمَّ نَزَعْنَاهَا مِنْهُ إِنَّهُ لَيَئُوسٌ كَفُورٌ

Translation:

And if We give man a taste of Mercy from Us, and then withdraw it from him, verily! He is despairing, ungrateful.
