Tasting Death

Aaoodhoo billahe minashaitan rajeem

Al-Anbiya 21:35

Every soul will taste death. And We test you with evil and with good as trial; and to Us you will be returned.

Very scary. I have to taste death and I don't know how much time I have left and I don't know how many trials I have passed or failed. And each one of us is tested whether from good or bad. Oh Allah help us be conscious of those trials and help us succeed in them. Ameen. Oh Allah we are weak and You are strong. Oh Allah help us and have mercy on all Muslims and forgive us and guide us to the path that reaches You and make us die as Muslims. Ameen.

Attitude of man when Allah lets him taste good after evil

Surah 11. Hud, Verse 10:

Translation:
But if We let him taste good (favour) after evil (poverty and harm) has touched him, he is sure to say: "Ills have departed from me." Surely, he is exultant, and boastful (ungrateful to Allah).

Attitude of man when Allah withdraws His Mercy

Surah 11. Hud, Verse 9:

Translation:
And if We give man a taste of Mercy from Us, and then withdraw it from him, verily! He is despairing, ungrateful.
