Angels praying for those who believe, repent and followed Allah's path, to enter their righteous spouses, parents and offsprings to paradise of perpetual residence

Those [angels] who carry the Throne and those around it exalt [ Allah ] with praise of their Lord and believe in Him and ask forgiveness for those who have believed, [saying], "Our Lord, You have encompassed all things in mercy and knowledge, so forgive those who have repented and followed Your way and protect them from the punishment of Hellfire.

Ghafir 40:8

Our Lord, and admit them to gardens of perpetual residence which You have promised them and whoever was righteous among their fathers, their spouses and their offspring. Indeed, it is You who is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

Ghafir 40:9

And protect them from the evil consequences [of their deeds]. And he whom You protect from evil consequences that Day -  You will have given him mercy.  And that is the great attainment."

Trust

Assalamoalaekum

I am sharing an ayah below which inspired me today. If it is of any benefit then all praise to Allah. All the shortcoming are due to me. Oh Allah help us to put our trust in You alone. Ameen. I pray that all of us benefit from these wisdom of Allah's ayat. Ameen.

And rely on the Ever-living Who dies not, and celebrate His praise; and Sufficient is He as being aware of the faults of His servants,
(Surah Al-Furqan,25:58)

وَتَوَكَّلْ And put your trust  -  عَلَى in  -  ٱلْحَىِّ the Ever-Living,  -  ٱلَّذِى the One Who  -  لَا does not die,  -  يَمُوتُ does not die,  -  وَسَبِّحْ and glorify  -  بِحَمْدِهِۦ with His Praise.  -  وَكَفَىٰ And sufficient is  -  بِهِۦ He  -  بِذُنُوبِ regarding the sins  -  عِبَادِهِۦ (of) His slaves,  -  خَبِيرًا All-Aware,  -

I was stuck on this ayah for quite a while pondering why did Allah use the phrase "لا يموت  doesn't die" in addition to "الحي The Ever Living".

I checked many tafasir and couldn't find an explanation for this but Allah tafasir said that we should trust Allah in all of our affairs concerning ourselves and concerning the creation of Allah.

I reached to the conclusion that the reason Allah used two terms to emphasize that only He is alive since nobody is alive and He is not going to die. So basically both terms are complementing each other.

SubhanAllah.

I learned three lessons from this ayah.

First is that nobody is the perfect candidate to put our trust in except Allah because He is not going to die and because He is ever living, meaning He was alive when nobody was alive and He will be alive when nobody will be alive. SubhanAllah. If I have a case in court and my lawyer dies right in the middle of the case, I would need to hire a new lawyer. Also while choosing a new lawyer, I would usually go for a lawyer who has more experience and more experience comes with more life. But with older life, there are more health problems. So basically I am looking for a lawyer who has more experience and doesn't have the risk of dying. SubhanAllah Allah mentioned both in the ayah. Allah o Akbar. Allah is Great.

Second lesson is سبح بحمده glorify with His praises. It took me long to understand this as well. For a longer period of time I associated tasbeeh with glorification but then I always used to wonder why Allah said بحمده with His praise. I found out that when we do tasbeeh we need to believe that Allah is free from any imperfection. So previously I used to say SubhanAllah when I used to see a beautiful creation of Allah, like a moon, star, rivers, waterfalls, sky, ocean, a new born. Now I found out that the command to Glorify is not just for things that are beautiful but also for things and events that are not beautiful. SubhanAllah. A bad scene or event or even a personality should remind me more to Glorify Allah reminding me that Allah is free from any imperfection and whatever Allah showed me is by His order and His orders are the best. So when I glorify Allah on seeing bad scenes, then it makes perfect sense that I glorify Him with His praises that is سبح بحمده but why is this order is with putting my trust in Allah. Because my trust can be shattered if I don't have solid belief that Allah is free from any imperfection.

Third lesson is to remind myself that Allah is خبيرا AL Aware of the sins of His slaves. This reminder is very much necessary in order to keep the complete trust in Allah. I am a caretaker of my kids alhamdolillah . Suppose one of my kids wrongs one of my other kid. And both of them come to me to judge. I can't judge correctly if I am not aware of the situation. And how can i be fully aware of exact situation if situation didn't happen in front of me. I will need to rely on them to tell me the right thing. Only All is All Aware without relying on any one for His awareness. Then I am definitely not the right candidate for them to put complete trust. So this ayah also reminded me to remind my kids to put their complete trust in Allah. Sometimes it happens that somebody wrongs me and I am about to loose my patience upto the extent that I want to make people aware of his/her wrongdoing. And this happens when I start to forget that Allah is All Aware of sins of All His slaves or I start to get weak in the faith that Allah has decided to hide his sins and Allah is free from every imperfection. And this results in weakening of our trust in Allah. I am also more than convinced that the perfect candidate for me to put my trust in should not only be aware of my situation but should be aware of the sins of all other as well. And that can be no other than Allah سبحان و تعالى

Oh Allah help us strengthen our trust in You alone. Ameen.

Glorify

Surah 17. Al-Isra, Verse 44:

Translation:
The seven heavens and the earth and all that is therein, glorify Him and there is not a thing but glorifies His Praise. But you understand not their glorification. Truly, He is Ever Forbearing, Oft-Forgiving.
