Allah will surely support those who support Him

[They are] those who have been evicted from their homes without right -  only because they say, "Our Lord is Allah ." And were it not that Allah checks the people, some by means of others, there would have been demolished monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques in which the name of Allah is much mentioned. And Allah will surely support those who support Him. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might.

Al-Hajj 22:41

[And they are] those who, if We give them authority in the land, establish prayer and give zakah and enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong. And to Allah belongs the outcome of [all] matters.

Those Near Him

Aaoodhoo billahe minashaitan rajeem

 Al-Anbiya 21:19

To Him belongs whoever is in the heavens and the earth. And those near Him are not prevented by arrogance from His worship, nor do they tire.

 Al-Anbiya 21:20

They exalt [Him] night and day [and] do not slacken.

Subhan Allah. I want to be near my Lord insha Allah.  And when i read about those who are near Him, i find out they are not arrogant, neither they get tired. And yet I find myself arrogant on His worship and I get tired in His worship. I don't get tired reading Quran and pondering on it. Alhamdolillah. I don't get tired or arrogant standing on prayer alhamdolillah. I don't get tired talking about ayahs from Quran alhamdolillah. But I do get arrogant when His creation starts to bother me. I do get tired when His creation keeps bothering me. Then what kind of worship am I doing to my Lord? If I really worship Him then I should consider loving all of His creation an act of worship to Him. If I really worship Him then tolerating the acts of His creation shouldn't make me tired. Oh Allah make me true worshipper of Yours. Ameen.

I also notice that those near Him exalt Him day and night and do not slacken. Oh Allah make me like those near You. Ameen.

Rewards of servants of ArRahman: High places, greetings and salutations

Assalamoalaekum

I am sharing an ayah here which inspired me today. If it is of any benefit then all praise to Allah. All the shortcoming are due to me. Oh Allah help us benefit from the reminders of Quran. Ameen.

Surah Al-Furqan, Verse 75:

These shall be rewarded with high places because they were patient, and shall be met therein with greetings and salutations.

Ayah 63 to 74 of Soorah Al Furqan list all the attributes of servants of ArRahman. Let me recall their attributes here.

1. They walk on earth humbly and when ignorants address them, they say peace.
2. They pass their night prostration and standing.
3. They make this duaa

O our Lord! turn away from us the punishment of hell, surely the punishment thereof is a lasting

4. When they spend, they are neither extravagant, nor stingy, but keep moderate between these.
5. They do not call upon another god with Allah and do not kill the soul, which Allah has forbidden except in the requirements of justice, and don't commit forcination.
6. They don't bear witness to falsehood and when pass along vain, they pass nobly.
7. When they are reminded ayahs of their Lord, they don't fall deaf and dumb.
8. They make this duaa

O our Lord! grant us in our spouses and our offspring the joy of our eyes, and make us guides to those who guard (against evil).

So that's a lot of work. But these people will be rewarded high places and will be received with greetings and salutations. SubhanAllah what a great reward!

I notice here that Allah highlighted high places here and didn't talk about jannah and rivers flowing underneath. Because that is already there. With high places, if I think about something, I think about high rise hotels besides Niagara Falls. Beautiful scenes from the windows of those hotels. But Allah promised, He will reward with something which no eyes have ever seen and no mind has ever thought. SubhanAllah. And then greetings. Who doesn't like greetings and then salutations. I can't wait to see all that inshaAllah.

I am really thrilled by knowing that Allah mentioned "they will be rewarded because they were patient". So even if our spouses and offspring become coolness of our eyes, still we need to be patient. Because each of the 8 tasks mentioned above require utmost patience all the time.

Oh Allah give us patience and help us enjoin each other in patience and truth. Ameen. Oh Rahman make us Your servants. Ameen. Oh Allah grant us those high places You promised to servants of Ar Rahman. Ameen.

Kind of patience

Assalamoalaekum

I am sharing an ayah here that inspired me today. If it is of any benefit then all praise to Allah. All the shortcomings are due to me. Oh Allah give us right kind of patience. Oh Allah guide us. Ameen.

He would have almost led us astray from our gods had we not adhered to them patiently! And they will know, when they see the punishment, who is straying farther off from the path.
(Surah Al-Furqan,25:42)

إِن He would have almost  -  كَادَ He would have almost  -  لَيُضِلُّنَا [surely] misled us  -  عَنْ from  -  ءَالِهَتِنَا our gods  -  لَوْلَآ if not  -  أَن that  -  صَبَرْنَا we had been steadfast  -  عَلَيْهَا to them.\"  -  وَسَوْفَ And soon  -  يَعْلَمُونَ will know  -  حِينَ when  -  يَرَوْنَ they will see  -  ٱلْعَذَابَ the punishment,  -  مَنْ who  -  أَضَلُّ (is) more astray  -  سَبِيلًا (from the) way.  -
_____________

This ayah is about disbelievers who used to think that Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم would mislead them from their gods.

The point that inspired me in this ayah is that they said " لو لا ان صبرنا عليها had we not adhered to them patiently".

I always associated patience with goodness. But this ayah made me think again. These people who mocked Messenger ( peace be on him ) also used to think they were being patient in worshipping their gods. SubhanAllah. And they also had this fear that somebody would mislead them. And that was the reason they didn't want to hear what our beloved Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم had to tell them.

Today I also don't want to hear to everybody because I fear that they would mislead me. And I also think I am patiently adhering to my God.

Then what is the difference between me and them? First of all I can't even think to mock Prophet Muhammad

But There is one more difference which Allah سبحان و تعالى has told in next ayah is that they used to take their desires as their gods.

When i don't want to listen to everybody, I need to make sure that I am not taking my desires as my God.

Oh Allah save us from taking our desires as our God. Ameen. Oh Allah guide us and make us firm. Oh Allah give us patience in worshipping You alone. Ameen.

Seeking help and worshipping

Ramadan is around the corner. A reminder for us that another year passed and Allah gave us another chance to cleanse ourselves. Many ideas or plans are going in my head. And yet I am humbling with the thought that I didn't pass my year as I planned at the end of last Ramadan. Why? Did I ask for help enough? Did I pass my Ramadan correctly? Not really. Alhamdolillah I have another chance to be grateful. All praise and thanks to Allah.

I want this Ramadan to be different. In fact the best ever inshaAllah. A friend of mine always reminds if we want different results, we want to do something different.

I make plans all the time alhamdolillah. And I am able to implement alhamdolillah the items in my plan which are in the top part of my list. But priorities can be wrong.

This Ramadan I plan to do something different. I remember one Ramadan my main focus was to ask hidayah or guidance. And that Ramadan was the best so far. This year my focus would be to ask for help sincerely. So my focus this Ramadan is To You alone we worship and to You alone we seek help.

This is a different plan than previous years.
I plan to renew my intentions each day. And I plan to ask Allah sincerely for help. I need to remind myself continously. There is no power to do good and there is no strength to save myself from bad except with Allah.

I have to remind myself if I am seeking Allah's help, I have to worship Him alone. Isn't it true when we seek help from anybody we start to be nice to that somebody?

When we need help we also get very polite and also we get creative to praise that somebody.

If I need Allah's help, all I need is to worship Allah.

But how? What is one regular step I have to take in implementing my plan for this Ramadan or for my life ahead? My jammed mind says at least start every task with
Not just lip movements. But actually contemplating on Allah names الرحمن and الرحيم . I need to begin this Ramadan with بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم If Allah is الرحمن and if i seek help sincerely how is it possible that He is not going to help me? Only if I stop worshipping Him. How can I make sure if I am worshipping him right?

Again my mostly unused mind suggests to make duaa. And the best duaa that comes to my mind for doing worship in the best way is O Allah help me on Your rememberance and on Your gratefulness and best of Your worship.

May Allah reward you for reading. If it has any good, it is from  Allah and all its shortcomings are short comings in me. Keep me in your prayers.
