Greater in the Hereafter

Aaoodhoo billahe minashaitan rajeem 

Al-Kahf 18:34

وَكَانَ لَهُ‌و ثَمَرٌ فَقَالَ لِصَٰحِبِهِۧ وَهُوَ يُحَاوِرُهُ‌وٓ أَنَا۠ أَكْثَرُ مِنكَ مَالًا وَأَعَزُّ نَفَرًا 

And he had fruit, so he said to his companion while he was conversing with him, "I am greater than you in wealth and mightier in [numbers of] men."

Al-Kahf 18:36

وَمَآ أَظُنُّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ قَآئِمَةً وَلَئِن رُّدِدتُّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّى لَأَجِدَنَّ خَيْرًا مِّنْهَا مُنقَلَبًا 

And I do not think the Hour will occur. And even if I should be brought back to my Lord, I will surely find better than this as a return."

This man thought he was better from other man in wealth and number of supporters. Also he thought he will get better in the next world from what He had in this world. I wonder if I think I am better from someone in this world due to some illusion and I am in this illusion that I will be better from this someone in hereafter and the situations turns exact opposite in hereafter then I would regret a lot. May Allah save us all from this regret in hereafter. Ameen.

Women put off their clothes

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
Assalamoalaekum السلام عليكم

I am sharing an ayah here that inspired me today. If it is of any benefit then all praise to Allah. All the shortcoming are due to me. Oh Allah guide us, forgive us and have mercy on us.  Ameen.

Surah An-Noor, Verse 60:
وَالْقَوَاعِدُ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ اللَّاتِي لَا يَرْجُونَ نِكَاحًا فَلَيْسَ عَلَيْهِنَّ جُنَاحٌ أَن يَضَعْنَ ثِيَابَهُنَّ غَيْرَ مُتَبَرِّجَاتٍ بِزِينَةٍ وَأَن يَسْتَعْفِفْنَ خَيْرٌ لَّهُنَّ وَاللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ

And (as for) women advanced in years who do not hope for a marriage, it is no sin for them if they put off their clothes without displaying their ornaments; and if they restrain themselves it is better for them; and Allah is Hearing, Knowing.

This is the second ayah in sequential order of Quran about covering for women. First in sequential order was ayah 31 of Soorah An Noor.

This ayah is telling that women at a certain time/age/scenario in their life can take their clothes off. Since Allah doesn't order shameful then this must be outer clothes women wear. Along with ayah 31 of Soorah An Noor and ayah 59 of Soorah Al Ahzab, there is no doubt that women should have a outer layer of clothes on their clothes that they wear to hide the beauty. This ayah also saying that they can take their clothes provided they are not displaying their beauty or ornaments. And it also mentions that if they restrain themselves then it is better for them. Oh Allah help us women to cover in the way we are ordered. Ameen.
