أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
I am trying to share this ayah and my reflection on it below. If it is beneficial, then all praise to Allah, if not forgive me and I seek guidance for me and you.
Surah Al-Anbiya, Verse 47:
وَنَضَعُ الْمَوَازِينَ الْقِسْطَ لِيَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ فَلَا تُظْلَمُ نَفْسٌ شَيْئًا وَإِن كَانَ مِثْقَالَ حَبَّةٍ مِّنْ خَرْدَلٍ أَتَيْنَا بِهَا وَكَفَىٰ بِنَا حَاسِبِينَ
And We will set up a just balance on the day of resurrection, so no soul shall be dealt with unjustly in the least; and though there be the weight of a grain of mustard seed, (yet) will We bring it, and sufficient are We to take account.

On almost everyday at least once I feel that i am dealt unjustly and don't realize how many times I dealt unjustly with people. Please forgive if I ever dealt unjustly with you. This ayah gives me hope that all unjustices done to me will be taken care of on that day. But this ayah scares me more with all the unjustices I did to somebody knowingly or unknowingly.
This also reminds me to make this duaa on daily basis
اَللَّهُـمَّ إِنِّي أَعُـوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَضِـلَّ أَوْ أُضَـلَّ، أَوْ أَزِلَّ أَوْ أُزَلَّ، أَوْ أَظْلِـمَ أَوْ أَُظْلَـمَ، أَوْ أَجْهَلَ أَوْ يُـجْهَلَ عَلَـيَّ
O Allah, I seek refuge in You lest I misguide others, or I am misguided by others, lest I cause others to err or I am caused to err, lest I abuse others or be abused, and lest I behave foolishly or meet with the foolishness of others.

And I also want to remind myself to say more often
سبحان الله و بحمده سبحان الله العظيم
Because Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم said these words are heavier on scale.

ReplyDeleteI think that's y we have astaghfar, humans err, we cannot be perfect. Allah is surely Forgiving.
