Manners for entering a house

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم

Assalamoalaekum السلام عليكم

I am sharing an ayah here and my reflection on it which inspired me today. If it is of any benefit then all praise to Allah. Oh Allah guide us, forgive us and have mercy on us. Ameen.

Surah An-Noor, Verse 27:

O you who believe! Do not enter houses other than your own houses until you have asked permission and saluted their inmates; this is better for you, that you may be mindful.

________________

If I see my typical day I enter in my house all the time alhamdolillah. And I remembered someone who used to come to our house and always used to say salam while entering home even if there is nobody in the house. And in this ayah I noticed, condition of some visible creatures is not there, when we are being ordered to say salam. SubhanAllah no doubt Allah is The Wise الحكيم

Then I notice here that we have to get the permission to enter a house if it is not ours. SubhanAllah what a great wisdom here. Sometimes when we have very close relatives that sometimes we even have keys to their homes and sometimes their homes are always unlocked and sometimes they even have told us to come inside without knocking. Still we need to take permission. And Allah said it is better for you. I see the wisdom here. It keeps the secrets of homes inside and it saves the outsiders to see the activities inside the home that Allah didn't want the outsiders to see. Allah Akbar.

And at the end, Allah said "so that you may be mindful". So basically following Allah's command in this ayah we might become mindful.
