Who desires this world and it's finery....

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم

Surah Hud, Verse 15:
مَن كَانَ يُرِيدُ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا وَزِينَتَهَا نُوَفِّ إِلَيْهِمْ أَعْمَالَهُمْ فِيهَا وَهُمْ فِيهَا لَا يُبْخَسُونَ

Whoever desires this world's life and its finery, We will pay them in full their deeds therein, and they shall not be made to. suffer loss in respect of them.


Surah Hud, Verse 16:
أُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ لَيْسَ لَهُمْ فِي الْآخِرَةِ إِلَّا النَّارُ وَحَبِطَ مَا صَنَعُوا فِيهَا وَبَاطِلٌ مَّا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ

These are they for whom there is nothing but fire in the hereafter, and what they wrought in it shall go for nothing, and vain is what they do.


Whenever I read these ayah, I just cannot read any further. It's like a speed hump to stop and reflect what I am doing all day. Are my moments spent to desire and struggle for good and beauty of this world? If yes then it's scary because Allah said these people will be paid full in this world but in hereafter they won't get anything except fire. May Allah save us all following our desires for this world. Ameen.
