Quran verse about end of everything

اعوذ بالله من الشيطن الرجيم

Ar-Rahmaan الرحمن/ 55:26

كُلُّ مَنْ عَلَيْهَا فَانٍ

Everyone upon the earth will perish,

كُلُّ Everyone  -  مَنْ who  -  عَلَيْهَا (is) on it  -  فَانٍ (will) perish.  -

My reflections after reading this Quran verse

Earthquakes, shootings, wars, bombs, wildfires, hurricanes, tornadoes. I witness one of this every other day resulting in so many deaths and yet it is hard to believe that I am going to perish one day. And that day might be very near. When my loved one didn't die, I used to think none of my loved ones will die soon. What an illusion!

Illusion about loved ones not dying is a big illusion but illusion about me not dying soon is a bigger illusion.

This ayah is a reminder everything is going to end. This includes luxurious homes, vacation spots, cars , relations, responsibilities .....

May Allah help us realize before the time comes. Ameen.
