Peace on you

Assalamoalaekum

I am sharing an ayah that inspired me today. I seek Allah's guidance, mercy, help and forgiveness.

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم

 Al-A'raaf (الأعراف) / 7:46

وَبَيْنَهُمَا حِجَابٌ وَعَلَى ٱلْأَعْرَافِ رِجَالٌ يَعْرِفُونَ كُلًّۢا بِسِيمَىٰهُمْ وَنَادَوْا۟ أَصْحَٰبَ ٱلْجَنَّةِ أَن سَلَٰمٌ عَلَيْكُمْ لَمْ يَدْخُلُوهَا وَهُمْ يَطْمَعُونَ

And between them will be a partition, and on [its] elevations are men who recognize all by their mark. And they call out to the companions of Paradise, "Peace be upon you." They have not [yet] entered it, but they long intensely.

وَبَيْنَهُمَا And between them  -  حِجَابٌ (will be) a partition,  -  وَعَلَى and on  -  الْأَعْرَافِ the heights  -  رِجَالٌ (will be) men  -  يَعْرِفُونَ recognizing  -  كُلًّا all  -  بِسِيمَاهُمْ by their marks.  -  وَنَادَوْا And they will call out  -  أَصْحَابَ (to the) companions  -  الْجَنَّةِ (of) Paradise  -  أَنْ that  -  سَلَامٌ "Peace  -  عَلَيْكُمْ (be) upon you."  -  لَمْ Not  -  يَدْخُلُوهَا they have entered it  -  وَهُمْ but they  -  يَطْمَعُونَ hope.  -

Whenever I reach this ayah, I visualize the scene of an airport where everybody waiting to check in and then there are business class lines and there are economy lines and everybody carrying their luggage and want to be done with the process at their earliest. And in that line if somebody greets me with 'peace on you' then that feels special. What a beautiful duaa!
Peace on you. It feels Special especially when I receive from somebody I don't recognize. I feel more honored. When i receive 'peace on you' from somebody I know, it feels more like a ritual but when I receive from somebody I don't know, it really feels as an honor and it's a blessing when I am waiting in lines waiting to be entertained. I wont recognize those angels standing on Aaraaf and the will recognize everybody and to some they will say peace on you. May Allah make us companions of jannah and may Allah help us receive this salam, peace on you.
