Duaa of servants of Ar Rahman about spouse, off springs and leadership

Quran verse about servant of The Most Gracious

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم

Surah Al-Furqan, Verse 74:

وَالَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا  قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا

And they who say: O our Lord! grant us in our spouse and our offspring the joy of our eyes, and make us guides to those who guard (against evil).

I don't know how come I didn't write on this ayah so far. This ayah is one of my favorite ayah in Quran and I feel sad on the days when at the end of the day I realize I didn't make this duaa. Though it happens rarely alhamdolillah.

So what is there in this ayah? It has a wonderful duaa that is made by Slaves of Ar Rahman عباد الرحمن

I don't consider myself yet in the category of عباد الرحمن but I am trying my best to belong to that category inshaAllah

But I would say what a beautiful duaa!

 رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا

O our Lord! grant us in our wives and our offspring the joy/coolness of our eyes, and make us guides to those who guard (against evil).

And we all need it married or unmarried. I noticed that my days are greatly affected by my kids and my spouse.  They are the first ones I see in the morning and they are the last one I see at night alhamdolillah. And they are the coolness of my eyes alhamdolillah.

My whole day is passed keeping them happy alhamdolillah. Sometimes I fail sometimes I pass. But still I realize they are blessing for me only because they are coolness of my eyes alhamdolillah. Whenever I see them, I feel coolness in my eyes and I need it all the time.

We seek refuge with complete words of Allah from every bad He created.
 أعيذنا بكلمات الله التامات من شر ما خلق

we seek refuge in complete words of Allah from every Satan, every poisonous animal and from every evil eye.

أعيذ نا بكلمات الله التامات من كل شيطان و ها مة و من كل عين لأمة  

Many parents pray make my kid doctor, engineer, lawyer, human rights activist, pharmacist, business man etc. I just pray make them beneficial for humanity but most of all make them coolness of my eyes and my husband's eyes.

I realize that my personal goals are affected if they are not coolness of my eyes. If something happens to any one of them, my life is upside down. I pray to Allah, that He makes your kids and your spouse coolness of your eyes as well. Ameen.

Every human being has so much potential if he or she has spouse and kids who are coolness of his or her eyes.

I love this duaa also because it is for my self improvement as well when I say وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا
And make us leaders of those who guard against evil. Plus it is not "make me leader" but it is "make us leader". So basically I am praying for everybody to become leader for those who guard. SubhanAllah alhamdolillah. I couldn't have known this perfect wordings by myself. I want to be a leader but leading is not easy. I need help of Allah to become a leader too. And Allah guided me to ask Him to become leader of those who guard against evil. SubhanAllah what a perfect leadership. Becoming a leader is hard but becoming a leader for those who are themselves guarding must be the best that's why Allah advised it. Alhamdolillah.

Each of us must have noticed that when something is done in a group, it is much ,ore powerful. So if I truly make this duaa, my whole family can become leader of those guard inshaAllah and that would be the most beautiful thing.

This duaa also reminds me the favors of my parents and my husband and parents of my husband who must be making this duaa as I am more than ever convinced now that all the khair in my life is by the duaas of people for me in my absence. Alhamdolillah.
